First of all, what is CBD?

CBD is short for Cannabidiol, which is a compound known as a cannabinoid and, more specifically, a Phytocannabinoid. Cannabinoids are derived from cannabis plants (eg: marijuana and hemp), which are associated with many general wellness and medicinal qualities. CBD is one of the most commonly researched and utilized, as it is non-psychoactive and interacts with a series of receptors in your body known as the Endocannabinoid System.

Will CBD products get me ‘high’?

No, not at all. Unlike THC, CBD does not cause an intoxicating effect. At &Sunny, we use Premium Grade Broad-Spectrum Hemp Oil tested through an independent third-party laboratory to ensure our products contain less than 0.3% THC.

Is CBD legal?

Yes, it’s legal! In 2018, updates to the U.S. Farm Bill (aka the Agriculture Improvement Act) legalized hemp and the commercial cultivation of hemp under certain regulations. While Hemp-derived CBD is legal in all 50 states, CBD derived from marijuana is not legal federally. We are proud to say that &Sunny uses Hemp-derived CBD sourced in the U.S. and is completely legal.

Why does &Sunny use Broad-Spectrum CBD?

There are different methods of extracting CBD from the hemp plant, which yield different kinds of CBD extracts. Here at &Sunny, we use a Broad-Spectrum CBD, which is a bit of a mix between Full-Spectrum CBD and CBD Isolate. Like Full Spectrum CBD, the other compounds found within the plant are preserved in the extract; however, like CBD Isolate, THC is completely removed. Because Broad Spectrum CBD contains multiple cannabinoids, it can deliver the enhanced benefits of Full-Spectrum without the risk of psychoactive effects of THC. It’s the best of both worlds!

From the initial brainstorming all the way down to final testing, many steps take place before it actually makes it into your hands. We test all our products for pesticides, residual solvents, heavy metals, etc., and we triple test for potency through an independent third-party laboratory. So, what we promise is what is delivered. These lab results are always made available!

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. All returns must be requested within 30 days from date of receipt, unless the items are noted as FINAL SALE. Return packages must be postmarked no later than 30 days from date of original purchase. Unopened regularly priced merchandise may be returned for a refund within the aforementioned time period. All items marked FINAL SALE cannot be returned at any time.
